Shochu: Amakusa Mugi Joatsu (Barley)

A sip unleashes a burst of toasted barley aromas that almost like cacao puff and the primal power of the moromi mash, enveloping the palate. Deeply robust yet surprisingly refined, it delivers an effortless drinkability capped by a pristine, crisp finish. What truly sets it apart is a five-year journey inside traditional clay pots. This extended maturation tames the fiery heaviness and sharp edges of atmospheric distillation, unlocking a masterful contrast: a bold, muscular flavor profile seamlessly married to a velvety, harmonious smoothness.

●●●●●●
